Where it is: opening the app opens its window. Closing the window, choose Keep on Desktop and the woven line floats on your desktop as a widget, behind your app windows; its icon (three threads) stays in the menu bar at the top of the screen. (With the widget already there, closing the window just keeps it.)
Edit a note: click it, and its note box opens beside it.
Shrink a note: double-click it to shrink it to a small marker; double-click the marker to open it again.
Move it: drag the line. Change its shape: drag an edge or corner. Make it bigger or smaller: ⌘+ and ⌘−, or Size in the menu.
Zoom through time: double-click the line, then pinch; drag to move along it. Double-click again when you’re done.
In front or behind: Bring to Front and Send to Back in the menu put it in front of or behind your desktop widgets.
Can’t see it? Choose Show Floating Line or Put Back in the Middle from the menu bar icon.

Same plan everywhere: sign in with the same username (or Google account) on the website and in the Mac app; changes show up on the others in moments.
Forgotten password: username accounts have no email, so email us from any address with your username and we’ll help you reset it.
Delete your account: open your account (top right on the website, or Account… in the Mac app’s menu), choose Delete account… and type “delete”. Everything in it is deleted. See the Privacy Policy.
Keep a copy: Customize → Preferences → Export backup saves your whole plan, with photos and videos, to a file.
